Day 1. Drive to southwest Scotland and board auto ferry - the fast ferry to Belfast. A smooth crossing. 2 1/2 hours. Disembark and drive south through the green country and land at Collon House. 1740. Here's the bed I landed in. Feet up before dinner. What a place.
