MY #SOCALART - Richard Diebenkorn at Palm Springs Art Museum

Right.

This is all the photography one is allowed to capture, but I link you to the Palm Springs Art Museum web page below to explore for yourself the current exhibition of
RICHARD DIEBENKORN: THE BERKELEY YEARS,  1953-1966

This show is so well curated I found myself on a voyage, going back and forth between rooms as if I were on a cloud pushed by the wind through abstract landscapes which suddenly become representational, then abstract once again.

It matters not which way you enter, your companions will be the influence from Mark Rothko, Clyfford Still, Henri Matisse and of course line, color, form, and Big Canvas.  Green grass, blue sky, realities of women - breathtaking.

Take the drive out, from now until February 16, 2014.
