Happy New Year 2012 Pittenweem

HAPPY NEW YEAR
2012

This is a myriad of photos from various seasons of the year, but it spells out
PITTENWEEM Beauty.
Of course there is nothing happening today, everything is closed. It is New Year's.

Last night big bonfire on the west shore to celebrate Hogmanay, gaelic for new mornings.

Let us celebrate Pittenweem, and it's artists, it's painters, poets, writers, photographers and those that support them, it's agriculture, it's business and creativity, it's elders, it's children and the Americans who come to visit.

Tide goes in, hoops rise, tide falls, hoops scrape the shore.

Pittenweem Arts Festival, each August.
2012 celebrates 30 years.

From the Firth of Forth to the Firth of Tay walk the Fife Coastal Path along the shore and pass through the most interesting villages in Scotland.
In an ancient sort of way.

Isle of May in the distance.
Tide out, pools of light form.
