Back to Los Angeles - Back to ART - Back to RAUSCHENBERG, THE 1/4 MILE

 The Academy Library is going up next door, the Hollywood Hills in plain view from the 3rd floor and here is a show that CANNOT be missed.

Why?

Because this is a beginning...in 1981, and we have become accustomed - so accustomed - to seeing images melded together in our post MTV, Instagramable world that it's good to remember.

Remember the newsprint, the cloth, the cardboard. Of course we could go all the way back to Picasso and Braque 1913, but I'll bet Mr. Rauschenberg saw that too.

Hang it up and let it dry and don't forget the palm trees.
